We were more than satisfied with the number of visitors to our joint stand with Focus Garments, even though the number of exhibitors was only half of what is was at the last A+A edition in 2019. Perhaps that’s why the visitors were more relaxed this time, much more focused and at higher professional level.

Work Wear Trends are increasingly moving towards leisure and functional looks. Equipped with intelligent technologies such as heating or cooling properties and integration of sensors, they offer increased comfort and safety. Corporate fashion from head to toe is no longer a one-size-fits-all look but is becoming an individual and motivating part for employee clothing.
Fabrics, elastic (by construction or with elastic fibres) are key. They become intelligent through embedded particles, keeping the microclimate of the body. With a new fabric invention, industrial washing is possible, even with elastic fabrics that have extra thermal stability above 120°C. Double weave fabrics in different weights and structures are suitable for many different garment applications.
The use of Recycled Materials is becoming the norm. Bio-based Materials (which decompose in about 100-400 days) are the future step towards a more holistic approach sustainability in clothing, accessories, and packaging.
Specially designed Cradle to Cradle products are developed from mono-component fabrics and materials, including buttons, threads and labels to contribute to the Circular Economy movement.
